Texas Dall Sheep are a hybrid cross between Mouflon ewes and Rambouillet rams. The end result is a beautiful snow white Corsican sheep that was bred solely for hunting purposes! 6S River Ranch is fortunate to have some of the largest Corsican herds in the country and is frequently harvesting record-breaking rams.
Seasonal Restrictions:
Texas Dall Sheep can be hunted year round without any seasonal restrictions.
Methods:
You may hunt our trophy Texas Dall sheep using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Pistol hunting, Safari style, or from a blind.
Texas Dall Sheep Trophy Fee:
Texas Dall – $3,495 – up to 41″

Texas Dall – $4495+ – over 42″

Interesting Facts About Texas Dall Sheep:
• Bob Snow first cross-bred Texas Dalls at the Y.O. Ranch.
Texas Dalls were first created for hunting; but now that they have gone mainstream, they are being marketed for meat, show, and pasture clearing
• In 2009, the United Horned Hair Sheep Association, Inc. was established to promote all Corsican sheep, including the Texas Dall.
• Corsicans are crosses from decades of mixing the shedding European mouflon sheep with most wool sheep, including Churro, Jacob, Merino, Horned Rambouillet, etc.
